Some people bought touch monitors that support touch types such as 2-point, 5-point, or 10-point. That means you can use your finger to touch to get the response from a monitor. Those touch monitors are capacitive touch screens that are not compatible with touch pens, so you can't use a stylus to draw or write. If you're looking to draw or write, consider a model that includes a touch pen, like the UStation Delta Pro Touch.

If you use the UStation Delta Pro Touch but also can't use the stylus pen to draw or write, you may be facing the following problems:

• Using the Non-original pen.
• Your stylus pen is dead.
• The stylus pen is damaged.

When you meet these problems, you can try to use the following tips to resolve them.

Check the Stylus’s Supported Protocols

If you're using a stylus pen isn't the original one for the monitor, make sure its protocol matches the original. You can find the protocol type in the product specs. UPERFECT's stylus pens support the MPP protocol, so a pen with a different protocol might not work well with our monitors.

Generally, there are a few main types of stylus pen protocols.

• MPP (UPERFECT supports)
• Wacom
• Active Capacitive
• N-Trig
• HID

Make Sure the Stylus Pen Has Enough Battery

If the stylus pen isn't working for drawing or writing on the touchscreen, it might be because the battery is running low. Simply replacing the battery should fix the issue.

Check for Any Damage on the Stylus Pen

If you're using the original stylus pen for the monitor and replacing the battery doesn't help, try using the pen on your tablet (if it's compatible). If the tablet doesn't respond either, the pen might be damaged. However, if the tablet works fine with the pen, the issue could be with the monitor's touchscreen.
