In general, our monitor's working time is 4 to 7 hours, but the exact duration depends on how you use it.
Turn off Reverse Charging
If you want to save power and maximize the monitor's working time (7 hours), you can turn off the reverse charging, set the brightness below 50%, and keep the volume below 80%. You can turn off the reverse charging by following these steps.
- Open the menu.
- Tap "Re-charge" or the⚡ icons to enable reverse charging. (Or, tap again to disable reverse charging.)
- The monitor may dim briefly when switching.
For certain monitors like the UTouch G16, follow these steps to disable reverse charging.
- Hold the brightness-up button to open the menu.
- Press the volume-down button to find "Charging Mode."
- Press the brightness-up button to select it.
- Use the volume buttons to choose "Off" (it will turn yellow). ( Or, press "ON⚡" to enable reverse charging.)
- Press the brightness-up button to confirm.
Turn on Reverse Charging
If reverse charging is enabled, it can charge your laptop, but it will significantly shorten the display's usage time to about 4 hours.
